Still dont know why my RAM is running low

Hello,

am having a serious problem with my computer , am suspecting a virus , whenever i open 2 to 3 things i get an error memory low please close programs to free up space, my computer is 64 bit with Core i5 processor and has 6GB of ram , but i dont really understand why opening one or 2 application like firefox and photoshop or skype can hit up my ran can you please assist me ?

Try scanning your machine for viruses and malware.
