Hello,

I'm having trouble opening my hard drive. It won't open and it says;

'D:/ is not accessible. The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable.'

How do I fix this/ What do I do?

Run a chkdsk /f from a DOS prompt, and see if it identifies any errors.

Hi there,

Are we talking about an external or an internal drive? Anyways, the most common resolution of this issue may be granting permissions. Right click the drive, go to Properties, select the Security Tab and click on Advanced. On the owner tab, click Edit and give it full permission. Have you tried accessing the drive in Safe Mode? Any changes?

Hope this helps
