Hp laptop trips off on its own after some minutes

Hello,
i have a problem with my Hp laptop, it trips off on its own after some minutes, I tried finding out if it is a battery problem by removing the battery and connecting direct to AC but it still trips off but the power led indicator still shows green. what could be the problem

Hi,

Have you Try it in safe mode?
Booting in safe mode were it probably crashed and started the repair it's self on reboot did the trick.
