Hi, this is my first post on this forum, so I hope I am adhering to protocol.

I recently added a wifi extender to my old Belkin N router, since the signal was not reaching the far end of my house, which has thick sandstone walls. The signal booster works well, and I can now access Sky on demand etc.

The niggle is that the computer icon with the concentric arcs on the front of the router, keeps reverting from blue to rapid blinking orange, and I can't seem to remedy this. I also do not know the significance of this.

Good question. That is normal operation, as it signifies that there is traffic being routed.

I hope that this explanation helps!

Have fun!

Thanks ac3mark,

Problem is that the orange oscillations [on/off] are more rapid than a machine gun and go on for quite some time, [most of the night]. Could this all be due to traffic?

Perhaps yes, I'll bear it in mind, - thanks again.
