Windows 8 log in problem

I have been having a problem for the last 6 days. I log into my ASUS transformer and type in my password, and a black screen with a pointer shows up. I can open task manager and control center, but when I restart my system, the start screen flashes on and The computer resets. I really need answers and am getting pretty angry and desperate for results. Thanks for reading ?
