2. Click "New Task..." then click "Browse..."
3. Click My Computer on the left panel. Click C:\ - WINDOWS.
4. Navigate to explorer.exe, right click and copy explorer. Rename it to explorer1 (.exe) but on step 4 there is no file explorer.exe in the C:\ - WINDOWS. What should i do please help?

Hi Grehil,

In general what your are trying to do may really solve the issue. I would enter Task Manager and search for the explorer.exe, terminate it and then click on New Task, and write "explorer.exe" in the line. This method usually fixes start up issues, but you should know that this could be a temporary solution and a complete software and hardware check is recommended. Update all your drivers and do a complete scan with your anti virus.

Hope this helps
