Format sd card it shows format cannot be completed

What are the "Above mentioned procedures"?
You could try this (with the SD Drive plugged in) ...
Right Click My Computer - Choose Manage
Accept the UAC warning if one pops up
When at Computer Management choose Disk Management
Right Click your SD card (eg "Removable Disk (F:)"
Choose "Change Drive Letter and Paths for ....."
Click "REMOVE"
Click "ADD" - I cant remember but you might have to choose a drive letter for the drive)
Format your SD card. Dont be tempted to do a "Quick format"
Hopefully this will solve your issue. Let me know how you get on.
