Hello Acrylia,
Can you hear the hard drive spinning up? If you can't, it's probably because there is not enough power supply going to the hard drive. You could test the drive by pulling it out of your laptop and connecting it as external on another PC via SATA-USB cable. If it works there, than the problem is with faulty motherboard that you have.
If the HDD does not power up at all, I guess you have to think of a new one for replacement.
