Flash Drive Format

Hello,

I have Kingston 32 GB Flash Drive. When i Attach it to my computer it's play automatically and two files show. I am delete to both files but i could not and when i complete format to my flash only show format option but other method not to appear. I used CMD method, diskmgmt.msc and simple method for it but i didn't successful in it.
When i use diskmgmt.msc method here is message show on my flash drive below "No Media" What is the mean of it?
If someone have solution of this please tell me. I am waiting for your expertise thinking.

Hi Atif,

Have you tried the flash drive on another PC? When in Disk Management and right click on the drive, do you have some options or only Help is active? Sadly, there is a chance that your flash has failed. What file format do you choose, when you format the drive?

I already tried on another PC not on 1 PC more than 5 PC. At yesterday I attached again with my PC. 1st he show not media after some time he completely online show. He is in working position but problem is that he is not to do format. I do command format command of it and he display "Your USB could not be completed formated. I don't know what is the matter with it.

Then, it seems that the drive may still be working. It seems that the delay may be related with some connectivity issue. Check the articles below.

You may get some useful suggestions. Are you using the PC as an Administrator?

Hello Dear

Yes i am using Administrator and I read all articles and used their method step by step but my problem still stand. I don't know what is the matter with it.

I Used but the message showing is "There is no media in specific device"

Hi

It appears that your Flash Drive has been physically damaged. Sorry but Flash Drives cannot be repaired.

it's may or not because if it physically damaged then it didn't show auto active along with two virus files. They are not doing delete. okey dear thanks

Hello,

As a last resort, try this, it won't harm and just be solve the issue.

# Download USB Fix
  • It will launch automatically, and a shortcut will be created on your desktop.

  • Choose "Clean" option.
  • A pop-up will follow :
    Connect all your external data sources to your PC (Usb keys, external drives, etc...)
  • Once you're ready, click "OK".
  • While cleaning, you will loose access to your desktop, but this is normal.

The numbers of analysed and infected elements are displayed.
