Go to start-->control panel-->system-->in left side pane there is option called device manager-->in there did you see any yellow exclamation mark?

Sincerely Computertech,

I only saw System and Security, and when I clicked on it Device Manager was nowhere to be found. (By the way, I am running Windows 7.) Thanks for trying.

Press the key combination [Windows-Logo]+[R] and type the following command:
devmgmt.msc and then confirm by pressing [Enter]

Hi, I did not see any yellow marks or anything like that. Also, I tried plugging it in the sound card Line-out but it didn't work.
