I can't type and use the touchpad at the same time.

Hello,
I've been having this problem since I got this computer. I understand if this feature is beneficial to some, but it is not so in my case. This hinders me the most when I type and scroll at the same time, it inhibits games, and is turning into an increasingly annoying problem. I have tried solution after solution to fix it yet haven't succeeded. Can you please help me disable it?

What's you hardware and Windows version?
