Hello,

I am having Acer TravelMate 653. I just tried to open it just to have a look inside and Nothing else. But i failed to open it. So I again screwed it tightly and placed the battery back in the slot.
I then pushed the power on button as the battery was fully charged.
But it did not start .. as if the power button is not working.
But this is not at all possible.
I have handled it very carefully.
I dont think that there would be any hardware / software issue.
It was working perfectly before I tried to open it.
Plz. help.

Are there any security setup issue related that prohibit the use after someone tries to open the hardware... I dont know what happened.
Plz. suggest..
I have tried to recycle power by unplugging battery, power and holding power button ON for 58 seconds but this didn't worked.

what is the reason you dismantle your laptop? without the knowledge you did not try to open this.. i think there may be any connection issues which cause this to happen.. i suggest you to contact a technician for this problem.

Are you able to remove the battery?
If so then remove the battery
press power button for 48 sec
replace the battery
switch on the laptop

Remove the cmos battery and replace it again and remove the ram and reseat it again!
connect the adpater directly to your laptop without battery and check if neither works .. contact technician.
