Battery usage

galaxy s3 owner...why does this phone consume so much battery life? I constantly turn off apps I recently use, and I clean it of junk files several times daily. It seems to be a common complaint for this phone.

Things like Wifi and GPS use power. Turn off WIFI if you are not connected. Turn of GPS if you know where you are! Also the brightness of your screen affects the power usage. JUst some of the things to look at. Also, there are apps you can download like battery manager to assist in the tweeking of system settings for low consumption!
