System beeps at startup and no display

Hello, this is swathi. I have been using dell inspiration 14 3000 series with windows 8.1 OS . I have been using it past 6 months and this is the first time am getting a beep sound at startup and its not getting started. Am getting beeps many no of times. Plzz help me out wit tiz prob

Please describe the beeps, long, short, pause, how many of each and in what sequence.
