Audio doesn't work.

Hi, I have a pc with me running windows 7.It is little bit old pc with asus motherboard. Now sound doesn't work.I can't hear sound.I already installed AC'97 driver but no use.When I goto device manager its showing an unknown device(with yellow exclamation mark) with hardware id ACPI/PNPB006.Can anyone help me please.

Try this

Go to device manager and delete the device.

Restart the computer, new device will be detected

Install the driver if necessary

Install which driver?Can you send me ACPI/PNPB006 sound driver,please!

Sorry, I can't pull any drivers out of my pocket. Look at the manufacturer's web site, probably that Asus has it.

EMail id's are not allowed on CCM.

What is the model of your Asus computer?

Its an old samsung.I recently changed the motherboard to asus.Let me check the model number...
