I am looking to replace my current power supply but I only know that it is powered by asus and is nearly 10 years old now. Can you help??

A ten year old computer is not worth upgrading. Since any day now the motherboard is going to fail.
I assume you are using a standard desktop computer using generic parts. Dell used non-standard power supplies at one time. These are impossible to replace with generic parts. If it's a standard supply - then all you need to worry about is the Wattage. Probably a 600 watt will be sufficient unless you have a gaming PC will multiple video cards.
