Pen drive not detected

Hello, when i insert my pendrive i can hear a sound that indicates it has been detected but not displayed in the windows so i wnet to device managers and uninstalled the drive and reinserted my pendrive now even the sound which came while inserting is not coming!!!!! please help me

yup, not detected in that too and one more thing to add once i carried a wholesome of virus from friend's pc.it worked two weeks after that

Seems to be physically damaged, sorry.
