Cursor froze in middle screen

Hello
My laptop hp 650 notebook hunged while on net.The i switched it of...upon switching it on it showed me that it had start up error.The i left it to repair itself.It brought me an option either to restore the data or cancel.I accidentally cancelled.From then upon starting up.It brought password of which i haven't set for long and also the cursor froze in the middle screen.Even mouse isn't responding neither do keyboard.Please help.

You did not tell us what version of Windows you are using. You can try a Windows repair If you are using Windows 7 or 8.

Otherwise, I suggest you have a local repair shop take a look at it.
