Xp pc sees the win 7 pc but the win 7 pc does not see the xp

Hello,
i have a probel where the xp pc sees the win 7 pc but the win 7 pc does not see the xp pc and both of them are on workgroup network and I can ping eachother and when I use \\ to open xp it works but I need the pc win 7 to see xp for a program Pastel and when I try to connect from xp its looking for a password but its been disable in network sharing but a other win 7 pc does see the xp pc in network so I don't under stand even tried the firewalls still nothing
