Hello,
After replacing my power supply(just up sizing) my motherboard bios is not detecting my ssd or my hdd. It does however detect my dvd drive. I have checked cable connections, swapped sata ports on MB, swapped cables, and replaced cables. Machine posts when detecting dvd, but no OS. I suspect sata controller on MB.

Did you try reconnecting the old power supply?
I swapped cables with my DVD which is working. Still not seeing ssd.
Update bios, no change, connected new ssd and it is seeing new ssd.

so the first SSD was DOA?

I've had two quit on me after 5 or 6 months.

Suspect both ssd and hdd dead. Will confirm later on another PC. About the time of failure, several thunderstorms and power brown outs. Could have contributed.
