In addition to the authentication required pop-up, I am not able to use my browser on Google Chrome. I enter something in the browser, and the pop-up keeps coming up. I hit "cancel and try again, but the same thing keeps happening. Should I contact Google Chrome?

I would start by uninstalling Chrome and downloading a new copy.
Then I would download Malwarebytes anti-malware and scan the system.
