Warcraft 3 on LAN does not work

Hello,

I'm playing Warcraft 3 (+ TFT expansion) again.

When I'm creating a game, we can't even find the game with my 2nd laptop.
Both are laptops connected to the same wifi. Both run windows 8.1.
All 4 serial keys are legit (even tho this does not matter for LAN).


What I've tried till now:

It's definitely not the firewall, i've allowed all the warcraft .exes and also in the advanced firewall settings. Even with both firewalls off it does not work.

I CAN ping from both laptops to eachother.

I disabled the modem firewall.

I run both games in Administrator mode.

I can play through battle.net via internet with eachother (not private session, but public). But I prefer to play on LAN, it really should just work.

I tried finding eachother via Hamachi, didn't work.



I really hope someone has another solution!

Update:

I also checked:

Both Warcraft versions are the same.

I connected both laptops directly to the modem with cables, still I can not find games.

Any help please!
