computer not picking up mic! help!Closed

Hello, I've got a microphone that I have to use to do YouTube, i recently got windows 10 and tried to do videos but the mic was on default, I tried to change it as best as i could, check if it was disabled, tried troubleshooting problems, trust me I've tried everything, but the computer still isn't picking up the mic! HELP!

Does the PC see it in hardware manager?  If you unplug it and plug it back in, does the PC try to do anything?  When did it ever work?  Did you confirm it works with 10?
