Acer aspire E1-522 will not recognize wifi networks

Hello,

I have an acer E1-522 that refuses to recognize any wifi networks. The laptop is a little over a year old so out of warranty, however it's just been sitting in a box the entire time because of this issue. I've tried Uninstall of adapter and then reinstall. I've also done a hard factory reset and still no luck. Any suggestions?

At this point why don't you just give up and buy an external USB wifi adapter?
