hi,
your mac's battery is dead, get it replaced or use it only when connected to the charger.
your mac's battery is dead, get it replaced or use it only when connected to the charger.
try this:
1. Shutdown
2. Remove Charger Cable
3. Remove Battery
4. Hold Power button for 5 seconds (obviously nothing will happen...)
5. Charger cable back in
6. Turn on
7. Once loaded put battery in
When I did this after ripping my battery apart it actually recognized the battery again (well, the ic board in the battery pack, the LiPo Cells themselves were long gone).
This really surprised me because up until this point my battery logo just had an X on it (nothing there at all). So now it recognized it for a moment and said 99%. Then after a minute or so it disappeared.
I'm actually still trying to rebuild this battery pack just for fun, though I've resigned to the fact that my Macbook Pro is basically now a Desktop.
So if anyone works out the pin-out I would be very grateful to know (before I blow up my flat by accidentally charging Duracells like LiPo's. Ha.)
