Hello lucky vamsi,
The reason for your display to go black might be due to overheating of the GPU. You might have to check whether the fan is spinning. A cooler pad would be a temporary solution so I suggest you to open your laptop to see if there's a problem with the thermic paste around the chip responsible for the video signal streaming, if you possess knowledge of laptops. If don't, then you would be the best if you bring it to a tecnician to make the tests. You could try to connect your laptop to an external monitor to see if it will display anything there.
