debbie, Good morning.
Try to use an AND Function at your formula in RULE of Conditional Format.
Example:
=AND(first conditon-DATE , second condition-TEXT)
Is that what you're looking for?
I hope it helps.

Maybe you can help me please?
I've a project timeline where I put the start and the end of a task. I managed to create a conditional formatting for the period between these dates. The cells in the calendar highlights as I add the start and end.
However, I also need those cells to identify the resource I'm selecting from a drop down list with different colour formatting for each resource. So to summarise I need:
Conditional formatting on the calendar weeks/month as per date.
Conditional formatting on the calendar weeks/month as per resource.
Is that clear?
Obrigada!! Daniella
