The format and name boxes will not help you find contents of a sheet.
However ,the Find box will, at least it should.
So, we have a few of scenarios on why its not finding what you are searching for:
1. The data is not actually there
2. You have made a spelling mistake
3. The find box is filled out incorrectly,
a. the "Match entire cell contents" is checked and you are only supplying a partial name.
b. The "Match case" is checked
If none of these is the case, can you tell us what you are searching for and how.
However ,the Find box will, at least it should.
