Date formatting

Hi,

When I fetch raw data from a portal, the date comes in this text format Oct-02-2015. I make it in proper format 02-Oct-2015 through delimited and concatenate function. But it still remains in text until I use "f2 & Enter". I need some solution so that all active cell in this column can be converted in one go. Please help.

Vikrant Sharma, Good evening.

Try to do:

Select column with DATES
Format as DATE
Choose one cell, eg. D1 and Type 1 at this cell.
Select D1 and COPY
Select column with DATES
Special Paste --> mark option: Multiply
OK
