Error installing Windows XP.

Hello,
I am trying to install Windows XP SP3 and the * * * STOP: 0*0000008e error comes out with Blue screen whenever i hit enter to install in a partition. I have currently no operating systems installed. And also my Sata mode is in IDE. Please i need the help.

I suggest you test using a bootable version of Linux. It's possible you have a hardware error. bad memory and/or bad hard disk.
