4 key always comes out $4

Hello,
My 4 key on my Mac always comes out with a $sign in front of it. No matter what. Doesn't do this with any other key. Every time I hit the 4 key it comes out $4 (I'm using my phone for this post)

I suspect you will need to re-lace the keyboard. Can you test using an external USB keyboard?
