Hey there, emdeeh.
What happened exactly? Did the data just disappear? If so, you could check out the solution from this thread: https://ccm.net/forum/affich-28692-how-to-retrieve-lost-files-in-flash-drives On the other hand, if the flash drive has some sort of issues, you could try it with a different computer to see if it's recognized and try to access it via Ubuntu Live USB/DVD, to see if you can get to your files, or try with data recovery software. As usual, the most reliable data recovery solution remains, a data recovery company.

Have you saved new data to your device? because if you, the data will be overwritten. And you won't be able to get data back.
