Could you check if your drive is visible in Disk Management and in Device Manager? Would you explain me how are trying to format it? Do you get some error message? The best way to do it is to open Disk Management and right click the drive. Select format. If an error appears, I would try on another PC. For some additional suggestions, follow the link below:
