Pen drive not show

Hello,
I have hp 4 GB pen drive . Whenever I insert the flash drive into the computer, it detects the flash drive and I can see the flash drive icon in the system tray as well as the drive is visible in the windows explorer.However, when i try to open that drive, it gives me the message "Please insert removable disk in to the drive" ,but, the drive is already open.

After plugging in the device, go to device manager (In run type "devmgmt.msc") In Device manager go to "Universal serial bus controllers" It should list the storage devices that you have connected to your PC. Right click and then click "Uninstall. Remove the USB drive and restart your system.
Try connecting the device again

Install HP's USB utility, unplug the uSB and then restart the computer, Hope this helps
