My HDMI cable won't connect my LG monitor and Asus PC?

Hello,

My PC worked fine connected by HDMI cable just a few days ago, then I unplugged the HDMI cable and used it for something else. I then plugged it back into my PC and monitor, and now all of a sudden I get no signal, unlike before when it all worked. It says "No Signal Entering Power Saving Mode", and I can't change the Input on the menu either, because when I select that option it just says "Checking Input... No signal". Can someone please help me make it work again?

The laptop may need you to change a setting to enable the external HDMI port. There is often a PF key assigned to that task or you can use the Intel Icon in the control panel.
