Seagate backup plus How to permanently delete/ erase

Hello.
I have a seagate backup plus external hdd.
I deleted all files on it. It says its empty when i click on it in my computer.
But when i plugged it into my tv, all were there still ! How do i permanently delete/ erase all please?

Hello ClaireB12,

There are third party softwares that could do the job for you. You can also try to erase the external drive through its' manufacturer software for testing if there's any. You could erase the drive when going into Disk management, but beware which drive letter has been assigned to your external drive.
Also, you can try with Linux Live CD/USB.
