Can't view pictures on memory card

Please help me
My phone memory was almost full and I was asked to transfer some of my pictures and music to a memory card,which I did but now I can see them but I can't view the pictures or play the music in the memory card pls help me,over 1000 pictures

(If Samsung) in applications go onto my files and go onto the file called sd card and you should find all your photos

If not then insert your memory card into your laptop and you should find it
