I have an external 500gb hard drive but ,when I connect it , it only shows as 32gb. Is there anyway to get at the rest of the memory. Also I have 2 external hd from XBox but when connected to my laptop, do not show up . would appreciate any ideas. Thank you

Try this 1

Check if the files are not in hidden mode.

Click on "Start" -->Run --> Type cmd and press Enter.

Here I assume your HD letter as G:

Enter this command.

attrib -h -r -s /s /d g:\*.* --> Press Enter

You can copy the above command --> Right-click in the Command Prompt and

paste it.

Note : Replace the letter g with your HD letter.

Now check your drive for the files.
