Hello,

My PC shut downs automatically after 5-10 minutes for first time and then when I restart it shutdowns within seconds.
Processor: AMD athlon(tm) || X2 270 3.40 GHz
Ram 2 GB
Is windows 10 pro 32 bit
I have bought the PC just 2 years ago

For the first time when I start the PC it works for some 5-10 minutes and when I restart it it shut downs very quickly and this repeats
I have cleaned the PC and had booted in safe mode and still the same problem. But when I use safe mode it stays for some more time.
Even if I enter into BIOS mode after switching on and kept it idle it shutdowns

Please help me out
Is it a hardware problem r OS problem if it is OS problem then what about my important files in PC
If it is a hard ware problem then which part is damaged.
please help me .

My guess here would be a build up of dust in the heat sink and the heat cant get away from the processor. Try cleaning the heat sink assembly. If its a laptop, you might want to get this done professionally. Dont forget if you remove the heat sink, then you will need to clean off the old thermal compound from the CPU and the heat sink and then apply some new thermal paste.

I really appreciate thank you messages as a payment for solving issues   :o)
thanks for reply
I had already cleaned the heat sink but I had not applied thermal paste.it already has thermal paste. As it is only two years old is it required to change thermal paste.
.Generally, afer how often is recommonded to change the paste

i have observed two things. when I started my pc the cpu fan sometimes not starts automatically.if I give it a movement it starts.second, when I kept my cpu cabinet open and use my pc it does'nt shutdown
so, is the problem cooling or something else?doe applying thermal paste soves my problem?

You only need to change the thermal paste when you remove the heat sink from the CPU. It doesnt matter how old it is, just that you have disturbed it is enough to warrant cleaning the old and putting on new..

It looks like heat is the cause of your issue - especially if it does it when you close the cabinet.

Also, it looks like your CPU fan may be failing. Consider replacing this without delay.

Please let me know how you get on.
