Screen not coming up in HP 2570p

Hello,
I have a HP elitebook 2570p laptop, recently i changed the faulty hdd with a new one. After changing the hdd it was working fine but today when i powered it ON the screen is not coming up (black). However the laptop is powered up.
Please advice
