Hello,
This is Nithin. Im using Intel P4 2.8 Ghz processor. There is some noise creating from the fan. i.e. i feel the spped of the fan increases and decreases after some time. But in see in the CPU usage History and usage module its normal.

it is likely its the automatic fan speed is enabled in bios....it speeds up and slows down according to cpu load, however if it makes grinding sounds you need a new one.
