WD My Passport Essential not recognizing sometimes

Sometimes it recognizes on my laptop in certain angles, other times it doesn't. And when you find the right angle or stand up position, you can't touch it or if you do, it doesn't show up anymore on my computer even when it's plugged in.

Hello jagsfan05,

I think you are having a bit of a trouble with the USB cable that you connect your WD Passport to the laptop. Try to find another USB - mini USB cable and check the USB port of your laptop with another external drive because the port itself could have issues.
