I'm trying to install music onto iphone, however, when I connect phone and try, a message says 'the device has stopped responding or has been disconnected'. Have uninstalled itunes, then reinstalled it, but still message appears. Can anyone help please?
I am new to this forum, and new to computers.
Thank you.

Phones are not "authorized" so please clarify what you're referring to.

So I went a little further, and found this:
Hey I found my answer !here is what a person has to do.open up settings and go to music, scroll down and you will see home sharing .put your apple ID in and your password and your all set.Kind of strange a apple rep did not know that .oh well we all work for the same goal.

But when i tried to find my phone in devices it wqas no where to be found.Go to settings and scroll down to music ,scroll down to home sharing and type in your Apple ID and Password and your devices will apear in the authorized colum of your account.otherwise every time you buy a tone music etc you will get an email from Itunes stating that some one just purchased a tone music etc .just to alert you.it was purchased from another device that is not Authorized.thanks for trying to help.I got it done,

I hope this helps!
