Hello Andy,
To copy a work sheet entirely, the simplest way is to right click on the sheet tab that you wish to copy, select "Move or Copy" from the menu that appears. In the dialogue box that then appears, tick the "Create a Copy" box and then click OK.
All done!
Cheerio,
vcoolio.

Hello Andy,
Yes, your second post is considerably different from your first.
Excel is a very powerful object and has many inbuilt functions which will do all that you ask.
In regards the external query, read the following link which will guide you in the right direction:-
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/refresh-an-external-data-connection-in-excel-1524175f-777a-48fc-8fc7-c8514b984440?redirectsourcepath=%252fen-us%252farticle%252frefresh-an-external-data-connection-036367ac-d139-49e1-b64e-4a84cff3a519&ui=en-us&rs=en-us&ad=us
and click on
"Refresh a SQL Server data connection" in that link.
You now know how to make a copy of the sheet. To hide it, right click on the sheet tab and then select "Hide" from the menu that appears.
