Hello shushantg,
Have you tried to connect the USB flash another PC to see if it would get recognized there? Can you remember what type format has been given to the flash drive?
If you have nowhere else to connect it, you could try to see if the BIOS recognizes it at the physical level. If it does, then go to the Disk management to check whether it is shown as an unallocated space. If it is so, you have to assign a drive letter ot it. Be careful, if it requires you to format it, don't, because you will lose all of your data stored on the pendrive.
You could try to extract the data with a data recovery program or you could try the CD Live of Linux.
Hope I gave you some ideas.
