I have a dell Inspiron 14R, I had a virus in the laptop and had too do a factory reset. So now I don't have HDMI anymore and it doesn't register as a different monitor. I had too do this once before and now I need too do it again but forgot how too do it! It's been awhile back sense I've done it! Can someone help me with this?

Ok, so does that mean you have a regular VGA or other monitor hooked up?  Hit Windows key + p! Select Extend.  If Windows +p doesnt hook, then hardware manager doesn't see the HDMI, and you need to reload the HDMI drivers for your HDMI card!
