Keeping Laptop Screen On When Lid Is Closed

Hello,
I am trying to find a way to keep my laptop screen from turning off when I close the lid. I've changed my settings so it says do nothing when I close the lid, but that only keeps my pc from turning off/going to sleep mode.

Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.

The laptop probably assumes that you are using an external Monitor and then turns off the screen.

If the lids closed then you can't see the screen anyway.

My reason for asking is because, I like to use my phone's screen to play video games that are installed on my laptop. However, when I close the lid on my laptop I cannot play the game anymore. I'm not sure if keeping the pc screen on while the lid is shut would make any difference, but I thought it'd be worth a try.
