Did you hear beeps during startup of your laptop?
Try this,
1) switch off your laptop.
2) Press power button for 30 sec
3) Remove your RAM from the slots.
a. If you have two, remove both and clean the slots of RAM
b. Fix with one RAM in one slot at a time.
4) Restart the laptop and see what happens.
5) If nothing happens try step 1 and then 3b with another RAM and start your laptop.
Lets see what happens.
