Hi there I got a mecer mini laptop that has XP Windows on it amd tried to download windows 7 for it the free version and now something went wrong in the process so now wen I turn on it goes to wallpaper amd that's it. No icons to shut down like it frozen. Pls help.

There is no free version of Windows 7 and you have corrupted your operating system. I suggest you consult a repair shop.
