Acer Aspire desktop/Win8 cannot access the net

Hello,

I have a brand new Acer Asprire desktop, running Windows 8, but it will not connect to the internet. I use comcast and my other computer, a Dell machine has been accessing the net for the past 4 years no issues. Windows is also activated but still no luck.
I hate this Windows 8 and I need to connect to the internet so that I can upgrade to Win 10

Wired or wireless connection?

I suggest you use a wired connection to download Win 10.
